Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ConvertImg.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how images and data are handled.

Description of the Service

ConvertImg.com provides free online image tools, supported by advertising, including:

• Image Converter — convert images between many formats (such as JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO, AVIF, HEIC and others).
• Image Compressor — reduce image file size, including compression to a target size.
• Image Resizer and Bulk Resizer — change image dimensions, including preset sizes.
• Image Cropper and Flip & Rotate — crop, rotate and flip images.
• Image to Text (OCR) — extract text from images.

Some tools run in your browser, and others (the Image Converter and the main Image Compressor) process your file on our server. Details are in our Privacy Policy. We may add, change, or remove tools and features at any time.

Using the Service

You may use the Service for personal and commercial purposes. You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms.
• Only upload or process images that you own or have permission to use.
• Not upload content that is illegal, infringes the rights of others, or contains malware or malicious code.
• Not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its servers.
• Not use bots, scripts or other automated means to send large volumes of requests, scrape the website, or resell the Service, without our written permission.
• Not call our conversion or compression servers directly from other websites, apps or programs. They are provided only for use through ConvertImg.com.
• Not reverse engineer or copy the Service for the purpose of offering a competing service.

Usage Limits

To keep the Service fast and available for everyone, we apply limits, such as a maximum file size of 10 MB per file, a maximum image size of 8000×8000 pixels for conversion, and a limited number of files processed at one time. The Image Converter and Image Compressor also allow up to 50 files per visitor every 10 minutes; once this limit is reached, you can continue after the waiting time shown. These limits may change. We may also temporarily restrict access if we detect unusual or excessive use.

Your Content

You keep all rights to the images you process. We do not claim ownership of your content. You give us permission only to process your files as needed to provide the tool you chose (for example, converting or compressing the file) and to return the result to you. We do not use your images for any other purpose.

You are responsible for the images you upload and for having the right to process them.

Advertising and Analytics

ConvertImg.com is free to use and is supported by advertisements, including ads served by Google AdSense and other advertising platforms. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used. Details, including cookies and your choices, are in our Privacy Policy.

• Ads are provided by third parties. We do not control their content and do not endorse the products or services they promote. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and the advertiser.
• Please do not click on ads for no reason, ask others to do so, or use bots or other methods to create false clicks or views. This can harm us and the advertisers, and we may block access if we find it.
• Please do not hide, block, or interfere with the ads or analytics in a way that disrupts the website, or try to change how they work.
• Your images are never shared with advertisers or analytics providers.

Intellectual Property

The website design, code, graphics, logo, and branding of ConvertImg.com are owned by ConvertImg.com and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our website content without permission. Third-party libraries used by the Service remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their own licenses.

Output Quality and Your Responsibility

Image conversion, compression and resizing can change an image. Converting to a lossy format (such as JPG or WebP), compressing to a small size, or enlarging an image can reduce quality, and some formats do not support features such as transparency or animation. Some results, such as compressing to an exact file size, are approximate.

Always keep a copy of your original files. We are not responsible for loss of or changes to your files.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• The results will be accurate or meet your specific requirements.
• Every file, format, or image will be supported or processed successfully.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ConvertImg.com and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim related to it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Third-Party Services

Our website uses third-party resources and services, such as Google AdSense and other advertising platforms, Google Analytics, Google Fonts, Lucide Icons, JSZip, Pica, Tesseract.js and content delivery networks. We are not responsible for their availability or practices. If they are unavailable, parts of the Service may not work.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or block access to the Service, without notice, for anyone who breaks these terms or misuses the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law
